Wow! Your Christmas cactus is in full bloom! Wonderful too, that the bright flowers along with the colored glass shadows make for a brilliant combo. No accident, I'm sure!

Super shadow shots Sylvia!

And I know all about growing old, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna grow up! Heh, heh!

OK, Sylvia...I see the vino bottle, but I am missing my wine glass with its shadow. Maybe next week. They are always my favorites as they give us such fabulous shadows. I like flower shadows, too. genie

'Age' is such a relative term, the Chili Davis quote so apropos! Life is lived as it is, we can live our lives not in drudgery, but in excitement of there always something new to learn and do every day!

I really like that second one, with the texture showing in the table cloth. And your queenly banner made me laugh out loud - excellent!

Beautiful, Sylvia! My big Christmas cactus somehow shriveled up after giving so much joy for so many years. You are making me want to find a replacement.

The shadows are lacy and lovely and that is the best Christmas cactus I've ever seen!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
