One Quiet Moment

The pleasantest things in the world are pleasant thoughts and the great art of life is to have as many of them as possible.  Montaigne

What an awesome sunset, a perfect way to end the day. And I love your friend's fall photo in the previous post. I hope you had a great weekend, and socks sends a bark your way. He's a lap dog tonight as it's snowing again...

Hey Sylvia - am up the hill tapping into the ether beside the third gum tree on the left.....tsk... imagine having worse reception here than in India! Have been catching and up and as always am brightened by all your offerings. Thanks for all your wonderful comments also. Hugs, YAM xx

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
