I used to have a sense of humor. I don't know where I lost it. I asked the doctor and she didn't know, either. She said they might have to operate. I said well if anyone knows how to operate it's a doctor or a bulldozer driver.
You can imagine how glad I was to find that I hadn't lost my sense of humor at all. The doctor said I'd lost ten cents and she needed to find my femur.
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.

Now I probably ought to work on my hearing.
Oh yes, you have to have a sense of humor. I hope things are going well. I have a virus or something so I stayed home yesterday and probably today.
I agree with that quote. Humor is so important and can lift us up whenever we are down.
