I'm already missing the beauty of the summer we had here in the northwest!!  So, today I'm looking back at the green and the beautiful!!  I'll get into Fall soon -- I think! Hope all of you have a wonderful weekend!!

With the leaves so green here, Autumn is still in the distance. There will be cold weather and beautiful shadows even in the winter. Although not nearly as inviting as these!

A beautiful, shadowy walkway beneath the trees. There is an intimacy with Nature in these two photos.

I'm with you on that sentiment! Dreading winter as I tire of being cold for so many months, but, there you go! Stay warm! have a wonderful weekend!

Beautiful greens of summer, Sylvia... Here, we are soon leaving FALL--and getting quickly into winter. The leaves on our trees are really coming down now --which keeps us busy!!!!! Fun...

Hugs,
Betsy

I really like those shadows across the path through the woods.

Those trees and their shadows remind me of long, lazy summer days in my South African garden. Hope you soon adapt to the fall weather, Sylvia. Enjoy your day. Jo

If all your summers were as gorgeous as this past one was everyone would move there! I loved our trip up and we had super weather. Your photos are wonderful, Sylvia.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
