Our World!!

The troubles seem to be back again, so forgive the weird composition for the day?  This was a beautiful January day down at the harbor in Seattle. Hope you all have a great week!

The least movement is of importance to all nature. The entire ocean is affected by a pebble. Blaise Pascal

Its a lovely capture Sylvia... So sorry about the problems, sometimes I think computers were invented to make us crazy :)

The words for today by Pascal, “the entire ocean is affected by a pebble”, seems timely as sometimes making everything right on our web pages is a single setting or click away … if only we knew what needed the clicking though. It is so frustrating when we do not!

That is a stunning scene and a perfect quote Sylvia. Bless you for the perseverance! YAM xx

The photo is quite enticing. But it does a little cold. Not sure about the quote, though. I really don't think the movement of a pebble or grain of sand affects the entire ocean. Pascal was probably exercising "poetic license."

Little things can make a difference, though! Thank goodness!

The picture is beautiful, the words are perfect. And that's why we come here...not for the composition of the page. Thank you for sharing.

What a powerful quote!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
