Lovely Skies and a Beautiiful World!

“Expect to have hope rekindled. Expect your prayers to be answered in wondrous ways. The dry seasons in life do not last. The spring rains will come again.”  Sarah Ban Breathnach
Hope your week is going well!  Smile, laugh and look for fun and joy wherever you are and wherever you go today!! Oh, I know I'm just one of those "goodie two shoes" old ladies, but it's more fun than being the "old neighborhood bitch", don't you think???

Sylvia, you are absolutely on cure, the dry has been broken and a most welcome summer storm is pelting down as my heart sings.

You're funny. I really don't think you're a "goodie two shoes," and you're certainly not the other thing, either. I think you've got your eye on the important stuff which you dispense with a great sense of humor and I'm glad you're my friend.

Re your comment on The Villages: I took that photo in the early evening on a rainy day. So, no blue sky. It's been rainy and ugly here all day today, also, but things are supposed to get better tomorrow.

Take good care of thyself!

Yes I think so. Sometimes I know I'm a Pollyanna on my blog, never mentioning anything bad, but I think of blogging as my happy place. In real life sometimes I can be that neighborhood bitch! (It's all a balancing act!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
