One Quiet Moment

"Expect to have hope rekindled. Expect your prayers to be answered in wondrous ways. The dry seasons in life do not last. The spring rains will come again.”

Such a gorgeous skyscape Sylvia. A great quote, which I too need to repeat and repeat. Thank you for this quiet moment to reflect upon.

Oh no, no, no, please no spring rains. We've had so much rain and flooding this winter...

My last six months have been the dry season, figuratively as well as in reality but there is always hope when the nourishing rains come to reawaken the heart as well as nature.

Hope you are paving a perfect week.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
