Remembering Chihuly's Art in Seattle

I wanted to share (again) these pics of the artist Chihuly whose work was on display in Seattle a year ago.

If  you ever have an opportunity to see any of his work, it is amazing!
I'm glad I was able to see it and take the shots that I did!

I love his work (who doesn't?)! I know his work is also on exhibit at the Phoenix Gardens-don't know if I'll get a chance to see it.
He didn't pass, did he? I just Googled it and there was nothing in regards to that, but the title of your post today made me think he did. I hope not!

Beautiful! I can't image the patience it must take to do this kind of amazing art. For every little piece I'd make, I'd probably break two trying to attach it.

He is (was?) a genius...we loved touring the museum in Tacoma and watching his students create. Wish we could have seen him. Beautiful photos.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
