I'm Ready for More Music in the Park!!!

Happiness is not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort. --Franklin D. Roosevelt

I enjoy music outdoors. We have a couple of outdoor music festivals in the summer, which seems to be a long way off! Have a happy weekend Sylvia!

I can give you music each Monday, if you wanna stop by and dance with me on Monday's Music Moves Me. lol But, oh these lovely photos of music in the park look so much fun. I can't wait for the weather to make getting outdoors fun again. :D Happy Skywatch Friday!

Hi Sylvia! VDP never misses posts unless I'm on holiday (sorry, vacation!) and I always say when I'm away... If you don't see my post popping up, then it's my feed that isn't updating in Blogger. There's nothing I can do about it, it's a Blogger problem that has been ongoing for months now but very few blogs are affected so they don't even try to fix it... Thanks for visiting today and yes, there's a post scheduled for tomorrow (and Saturday is a mere 10 minutes away as I type this!)

Oh yes. That is one of my favorite parts of summer as well. Won't be too long now.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
