Our World!!

Welcome to Our World!!  Join us and share yours!!

My daughter saw this Mama hiding her little ones under her wings one day when she was taking a walk. She began visiting the park every few days and eventually was rewarded with this sight!!
Mama and babies!!!  Kerith knew I would love seeing these and I wanted to share them with you as well!

I always feel for those Mommas. They have to work hard to feed and protect their babies.

Oh Kerith's patience was well rewarded Sylvia, how lovely for mum to keep her young ones safe and warm under her wings, love that!

Wow … those were a lot of chicks that mama was holding underneath her feathers. It is always so nice to see the little ones adventuring out into our world.

One of the great marvels of the world is mother love. And these photos capture that so well. They are beautiful shots of these beautiful birds.

Love the new header, too. Your friend did a great job of showing all sides of you and your lovely smile!

These photos are unique! At this time of the year we see many swan, goose or duck families. There are always two adults and a couple of chicks. Was there no father present with your swan family? Hopefully nothing happened to him.
Have a wonderful week , Sylvia!

So cute!
A lot of Canadian Geese seem to be taking up permanent (or at least extended) residence in my neighborhood. Yesterday, I was walking around our local lake and saw at least 50 goslings.
