Everything had it's fifteen minutes of being new and novel; except NY. It seems always to have been metropolis! I love these little series Sylvia. Hope it's going good this weekend. YAM xx
wow. that old soda stand...and the mail carrier...how cool....my fav though is that street in NYC....what a cool shot...i will be there in about 10 days...though i dont think it looks the same...smiles.
Wow-quite a collection of oldies but goodies-so strange to see the segregation let alone the whole concept of it just jars my senses.
Good job!
Some of these look familiar! The "good old days" were good in some ways and for some people and not so good in other ways and for other people. :)
Sometimes I'd like to toss my cell phone away! But I don't much like that calling from the car arrangement. But I do like the old diners! Great places to get a shake and listen to the jukebox!
Hope you have a great weekend!
Your look backs are marvelous!!
Happy to hear that you're having fun Sylvia, somehow i knew you would be :) Love these old photos, it's so hard to imagine days when we had segregation!
