Our World!!

Happy Labor Day!! Hope all of you are enjoying your world as the new season approaches!!  We took a little trip and it was lovely even with the gray skies!! Have a lovely day and a great week ahead!! Thank you -- all of you for the joy you bring into my life, every day!!

I cannot endure to waste anything as precious as autumn sunshine by staying in the house.
So I spend almost all the daylight hours in the open air.

Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.

I agree whole-heartedly with your two quotes! Autumn is my favorite season with one caveat, if only winter didn't follow it!

The sea cost is always beautiful no matter what color the sky is. Very interesting to see all the logs washed up on the beach - it certainly must get rough seas there at times.

I totally agree with both of these statements. We have had the best possible summer - let's hope the autumn will be equally fine. Both with you and everyone else.

Happy Labor Day... Hope you are having a great day. We finally got some rain here this weekend (which we needed)--but this week promises to be a hot one... I'm SO ready for Fall...

Your photos are gorgeous --even when there are gray skies.. There something beautiful in nature even when it's rainy or cloudy or sunny.... Bring me some AUTUMN... Love the quotes.

Hugs,
Betsy

One of the really nice things about living where you do is that when you take a little trip you run into some monumental grandeur! Love photos, Sylvia.

I've been out in the open air mowing the grass and now I'm playing golf tomorrow and it's all the fault of Nathaniel Hawthorne! :))

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
