Our World!

Time to share  our world and enjoy the beauty from all over the world!!  Autumn has definitely arrived in the northwest and while we have had some beautiful sunny days, they are getting shorter and gray skies are slipping back into the picture – bit by bit!!  Wishing all of you a beautiful new week!! Enjoy!!

In all things of nature, there is something of the marvelous.

Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn.
Elizabeth Lawrence

Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you.

Mother Nature can present herself in many beautiful ways; but...she can also present herself in some not so beautiful ways, e.g. the typhoon battering Japan at the moment. Be nice to Mother Nature! :)

Thanx for your comments, Sylvia!

I think I was busy taking Elizabeth Lawren'ces advice and watching the leaves turn -- and forgetting to finish my post for Our World. Drat. Is it Monday already ;>)? Beautiful fall scenery in your pictures. And good thoughts as always.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
