It has definitely felt like winter here in Portland today – the snow hasn’t arrived as yet, but the chill has brought back the memories!!!

That is a picture perfect scene for a Christmas card. Snowfall already this year in some places has not been for the faint of heart!

You are obviously heading for a White Christmas - we are so far above zero and likely to stay that way for the next week at least.

It looks beautiful but so very cold! I think I'd rather deal with the heat we are getting than your cold! Great photo.

Those white trees covered in hoar-frost make the most beautiful Christmas card. It's a rare sight here in the Netherlands. I have seen it twice here, and that was a reason for many people to walk around and take photos.
Enjoy your winter month. Hopefully it won't be too cold.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
