Some Mid-Week Wise Humor!

This is one of my favorite French proverbs.

The most wasted of all days is the day when we have not LAUGHED!!!

And here are two more wise goodies for the day, so remember the first one!!

Sometimes I wonder whether the world s being run by smart people who are putting us on or by

imbeciles who really mean it.  Mark Twain

Don't bite off more than you can chew because
nobody looks attractive spitting it back out.

I remember this image...I think it was from one of your shadow shots.

Gorgeous.

I do love laughter. [not that I'm implying your shell is humorous of course...you know better, right?]

Thanks for the laughs. But it's "imbeciles who really mean it"!

Love the conch. Used to be we could find these in Key West and sometimes on Sanibel Island. Not so much anymore.

What a gorgeous conch shell! Can you hear the ocean in it when you hold it up to your ear? That is what we were always told when I was a kid.

I may know the answer
to twains conundrum...lol

and I so agree, we need to laugh more and find more beauty...like that shell...love how it catches the light...

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
