Our World

Welcome to Our World where we can  -- and do share the good and the bad!!  Oregon at this time of year is all too frequently very gray, grim, wet and --more than likely, colder than we would like!!! And that’s when I head to my photos from better times!!!  Hope you enjoy!!

There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.

What a fine quote to start out the day! Bill and I joke that we have gotten so good at life that it's a shame it took us so long to know what we know!

A wise quote! The tulips are beautiful, something to look forward to.

Who knew Sophia Loren was so brilliant a thinker? Her quote is a bright spot on any gray day!

Beautiful, but I discovered that my body and my mind don't really match.
Have a wonderful week.

Photographs are time-less Sylvia and I think we all head for our pool of pics when the weather prevents us from getting out-and-about with our cameras. I love the quote by Sophia Loren .... she certainly knows all about ageless.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
