Our World!!

Time to celebrate Our Worlds again and share the beauty and the interesting things about them!!  We have had some unusually beautiful weather for the northwest in mid-winter!! It’s been great!! The clouds and rain have returned today, but the temps are still amazingly mild – and I’m surely not complaining about that!!!  But I do still miss Seattle and living so near the water, so of course, those are the pics I was looking at and “thinking” about my world!!  Hope all of you have a wonderful new week ahead!! Enjoy your world wherever it is!!
The  harbor in mid-winter!!

And yet people still spent time on the beach whenever there was even a little bit of sun!!

Ah, and then there was summer—warm, beautiful summer!!!  Even the trees look happier!!!

The tree you have pictured unfolds like an umbrella on the beach to protect from sun and rain.

Seattle is beautiful as is Portland. Our 'kids' have told us how warm it has been for the season.

I was going to say that I bet that tree in the first photo, is beautiful with leaves on it. Low and behold, there it was! Beautiful photos Sylvia! Just down the coast a few miles (few thousand that is), people are on the beach because it's mid-70's here.

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company.
