What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.

I enjoy this proverb - very true
Such a beautiful quote from your beautiful part of the world :)
Thanks Sylvia, it's a brilliant quote and fab collage. Happy week to you also.
A bit of spring would do us all good. I see you have something to look forward too. A bit of green grass and blue sky would be just the ticket!
so pretty. i'm glad all is well in your world!
Love the proverb and very timely since I am getting older. :)

Great Turkish proverb! I guess my heart will never grow old. ;))
Very beautiful and I like the contrast between the tree in full leaf and the other without leaves. Have a great week!
Lovely views Sylvia! I wish our winter looked like this!

Beautiful shots and a wonderful saying Sylvia!
I knew exactly who you were referring to as an old broad ... I call myself that all of the time. I love being this old. I think it took me this long to truly appreciate life and accept all of the ups and downs. I am happy that you are doing so well, Sylvia, you sure do deserve it. Your pictures are lovely and oh, how I would love some of that blue sky ... Be well, Sylvia ...
