What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.

Lovely blooms, Sylvia. Nature’s bouquets of flowers are always welcome when skies are gray.
Wonderful shots for me to see on this cold, gray and icy day.
It's so pleasant to see colour this time of year! Thanks for sharing these, Sylvia.
we got 12 inches of snow yesterday...finally....been out shoveling and sledding...the color is nice though now that i am warming up...ha...
i think our 'spring' is late this year. usually by mid-feb we're mowing yard pretty regularly already.

I must come around more often to see what spring will bring :-)
We have no snow, but plenty of rain and wind. But you know all of that :-)
Take care!
Oh what gorgeous blooms Sylvia. I am ready for spring too!
OH Wow---YES, I'm ready for spring and to see some beautiful flowers like you have posted.. We are in the midst of ICE, snow, sleet, frigid temps here ---so you know that I'm READY for a change... ha
Hugs,
Betsy
What pretty flowers!
Sylvia, I absolutely loved these! This is the time of year when you are SUPPOSED to start yearning for spring and spring flowers. (And I am already starting to envy you when I think of the Spring flowers we don't have down here.)
Amazing pictures, I love the first one...
Thanks for this colorful reminder that soon enough we'll have summer.
Gorgeous captures!!
I did enjoy Sylvia, very much, merci beaucoup.
