Our World

Another Monday and time to share Our Worlds !! I hope all of you had a great weekend  and that you’re ready for another week, hopefully with beautiful weather! We are surely having that here in Portland and I’m enjoying every moment!!

Beautiful photos, I think your weather sounds a lot like mine Sylvia.. although I heard a rumour there could be a shower tomorrow, but I'm not believing it until I see it :) Happy week.

I'm grinning inside
and that scared
my stomach
which was not doing
well to begin with.
But now it's better
and I'm grinning outside
in the midst of the
beauty of Portland
in the spring.

Oh, I love the “grinning inside” quote … actually … outer grins, such as your iconic one in the clouds, are great too!

Gotta love the rhodies! My favorite red one just began to bloom this weekend. Loving it! I assume that you are in Portland, Oregon and not Portland some-where-else? I've noticed that Spring in Portland is about 3 weeks ahead of us here in the Seattle area. Your photos reflect that.

those are brilliant spring colors. I hope that spring has arrived in your neighborhood! Thanks for stopping by. I'm doing okay; not blogging as much as usual, but still getting out and taking lots of photos! Enjoy the week.

I like the look of those stone statues - they leave some space for the imagination to fill. Nice.

Sylvia, it has been good seeing the springtime in your photos.

Thanks for your visits while I was away and unable to look at blogs.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
