were parents dancing with their kids and having as much fun as everyone else –
including those of us who were just watching!

was a rock band and they were good, but the most fun was seeing kids and
grown-up couples dancing!!

And
there were refreshments as well!! What a
fun afternoon!

course the sunset skies pretty much stole the show!!

OMG, I have been so hit and miss lately that I missed your "Grandma to be" announcement. Congratulations, is this your first grandchild? No wonder you were so elated watching the children dancing in the park ... your mind is wondering into the future and looking forward to that being your grandchild enjoying the park, the music and the dancing. They will be very lucky to have you for their Grandma ... so excited for you.
