Sky Watch Friday

Time for another look at our wonderful skies and share them with others here on Sky Watch!! Here in the northwest we’ve had some glorious skies – well, up until yesterday when the northwest took over and returned our beautiful blue skies to GRAY and GRIM!! But if we can believe the weatherman  -- Ha, Ha!!  The sun will be returning by the end of the week and the temps will be in the 90s!!! Then I can whine about the weather being too hot!!!  But for today, here are some of the varieties we’ve enjoyed!!  Have a wonderful day and weekend!!

The art of being happy lies in the power of extracting happiness from common things.— Henry Ward Beecher

Whee! Fantastic skies. Good quote, too. I'm happy when I wake up still breathing in the morning!

BTW, the Rolls Royce you ordered is on the way. Please have your checkbook ready.

Hello Sylvia, love the beautiful view of the mountaintop. It is rainy and chilly here, does not feel like June at all. Lovely sky captures. Happy skywatching, have a great weekend!

Congrats on becoming a Grandma. I can say from experience there is nothing to compare with the joy it brings.

Love the quote, Sylvia. If common things didn't make me happy, I'd be in big trouble. ;)

As always you are presenting some wonderful shots of your skies, Sylvia.
Overhere in the Netherlands we've had a rather cool spring, but today will be hot with temperatures of 30-35 degrees Celcius. I like nice weather, but this is a little too much for me. I'm glad temperatures will be normal (about 20 degrees C) tomorrow.
Anyway, enjoy your weekend!

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
