Sky Watch Thursday!!

Welcome to Sky Watch!! A blog where you can see and enjoy beautiful skies from all over the world and share your own!! We’ve had such an unusually early and very warm spring this year in Portland – so many blue, blue skies that I’ve actually begun looking hopefully for CLOUDS!!!  Don’t tell my neighbors though!!! So, I’ve looked back for some dramatic skies to share with you today!! Hope you enjoy!!

The trees do not license themselves to the countryside. The bees don't invoice the flowers. There is no committee of oceans, and I've never seen a bird take out nest owner's insurance. ~Terri Guillemets
You will find something more in woods than in books. Trees and stones will teach you that which you can never learn from masters. ~St. Bernard

Lindas fotos!
Amo o céu amarelado pelo amanhecer!
Aqui estamos no inverno úmido e gelado
Mas logo teremos céus limpos e azuis!

Lovely skies on your side of the USA! St. Bernard had it right, seeing and touching nature tells us more (but we need the books to tell us the names)!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
