Oh my goodness ... what a joy and little boys are wonderful (and energetic, I might add). He will keep you on your toes for many years to come, Sylvia ... congratulations, Grandma.

That's pretty exciting! But you gotta watch those male grandkids. They'll eat you out of house and home and want to drive your car and will bring you strange-looking girls with tattoos to meet, and expect you to take them out to dinner, and will ask you to finance their get-rich-quick schemes, and expect you to come to their weddings and bar mitzvahs, and well...you get the picture!

Just kidding. Boys are great fun. And I know from personal experience.

You must be very young. My grandchildren are mostly in their thirties.
I have one that is 25. :)

My greats are still rather young. One is 12 and the others are under eight.

Those wholly blossoms are nice!

A boy! My reaction when Susie became pregnant was that I would be happy with either. She had a girl, and I am over the moon. You will love your little guy like I love my little girl.

YAY Grandma!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
