Beauty and Wisdom for the Day!

I can be interested in coins or politics or horses or music or faith... the saddest people I've ever met in life are the ones who don't care deeply about anything at all.  -Nicholas Sparks

Most horses don't walk backwards voluntarily, because what they can't see doesn't exist. -Terry Pratchett

My daddy used to tell me not to chew on something that was eatin you. -Cormac McCarthy
We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives. -John F. Kennedy

Wishing all of you a lovely day and a wonderful new week!!  Enjoy!!

And a very wonderful week to you, too! Now I've got to go and spit out something I've been chewing on for too long! :)

Great images and great quotes. I had a boss a few years ago who said I had too many interests outside work. Little did he know!

great words of wisdom and as always, lovely photos! Fall is finally here for us in the PNW thank goodness. It has been a hot and dry summer.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
