What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.

Yellow and beer. The title of one of my poems is "Beer is my Favorite Color." And my favorite color is yellow. Your photo is glorious. Have a great time on your break. I'd tell you to stay out of trouble, but I know what wouldn't do any good, so I'll just say "Have Fun!"

Hi Sylvia, I hope you have a wonderful and restful week. I love the pic of the yellow rose. Did I ever mention I grew up in Texas ... And yes, the Yellow Rose of Texas would love your photo as well. Take good care ... see you when you are back. By the way, today is the last day of September, so I'll take this opportunity to wish you a fine October. :-)
Pretty roses. Out here in Hartford, most roses have given up for the season, but some are having a second showing.
