A Brief Visit to the Beach -- in Autumn!! Ah! Sorry Header Problems

In all things of nature, there is something of the marvelous.
       - Aristotle

Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you.
       - Frank Lloyd Wright

My turtle friends always remind me of Frank Lloyd Wrights quote!!

That first shot - the beach is so different from our Florida beaches, but it is just as beautiful in its own way. Turtles are interesting creatures. Do you ever wonder what they think about or when the week ends do they smile and silently mouth the initials: TGIF?

Wishing you a terrific weekend!

Your beach is beautiful, even in autumn.

You can definitely tell where that beach is coming from. It looks so cold to me though you all think nothing of it. Love the wood that looks like an alligator. The turtles seems to like it, too.

I really love the first shot!
We are blessed to live in a sub-tropical climate which allows us to go to the beach all year round. :)

No "life" on the beach - only beauty. But that is enough!

Your beach looks like a lovely place for a walk and contemplation.

Hi, Seeing the turtles reminded me of days long ago when I would visit my brother in FL --when he was still alive and in a skilled nursing facility... I would push him in his wheelchair outside and we'd go and look at the turtles (very similar to your picture).. Ah--the memories.

Hugs,
Betsy

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
