What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.

These are wonderful and I can relate. I scroll down and down to get to my DOB! Darn! I kinda wish we had the old phones and could dump the cell phones. I've seen two people texting and driving since yesterday!

Hi Sylvia! Glad you liked the little story! I was reading about the rain ... I think you're going to get a lot of it from this huge storm system that is also dumping snow on the mountains! But the rain makes everything soooo beautiful there! We need rain badly; our yard is rather burned up what with sun and 90 degree temps.

Pretty funny Sylvia. I have noticed on those scrolls that I know have to go quite a ways before I get to my year. And yep a phone call used to get everybody all excited.
