More Incredible Rocks!!

One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.

This is not done by jostling in the street.

Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.

Great header, Sylvia! You brought a smile to my face and made this rather dull day much brighter. And I see this morning that you're doing a balancing act with your post. Well done! Have a wonderful Saturday!

Wow! now I'm feeling very inspired to go and stack rocks everywhere!

Try to stay dry!

Those are great rock stacks - what patience it must take to create them. Good luck with all your rain; we had an inch of snow today but now it's supposed to be sunny and (relatively) warm for the next week. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

How incredible to sort rocks so that they can balance so artistically. Amazing art.

Hi Sylvia, Those rocks are indeed incredible! Neat photos and thoughts! Incidentally, I am just home from a few days in your wonderful Oregon. Enjoyed Cannon Beach. If it isn't the greatest beach town ever, it has to be pretty close! :-) Will post a few pics soon.

I love his creations so much that I have ordered three of his signed calendars as gifts for my hoodoo builders. After watching some of his videos, I now understand how he defies gravity with his creations. Love your Christmas banner. So clever and cute.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
