Our World!!

Welcome to Our World!!  But here in the northwest for the past several weeks we have had nothing but rain, rain and more rain!!  I couldn’t bring myself to take pictures of everything around me that is SOAKED and WET!!!  So, today I’m sharing one of my favorite trees in Seattle, which you have seen before, but I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! They do have a different “appearance”  with each season, but today spics are winter views, but I still find them beautiful!! I hope you enjoy!! Have a great new week and ENJOY!!

Don't fear failure so much that you refuse to try new things. The saddest summary of a life contains three descriptions: could have, might have, and should have.

Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.

Oh boy, that first photo is spectacular. It should be framed and hanged! Looks like you had a good weekend. Try to stay dry! It's cold here. Probably Canadian air! :)

This is one heavenly tree. Absolutely beautiful. Tall Leafless trees that stand alone are my favorites.

I actually love bare trees ... You notice the beautiful shapes and graceful limbs ...it's a different way of appreciating them. Thank you for thought-provoking quotes too as always and for hosting!

That's a neat tree. When leaves start sprouting is such a magical time for me.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
