Sky Watch!!

Happy Thursday and Welcome to Sky Watch!!
Although I have to tell you that as much as I love the Northwest I am SO tired of gray, wet, rainy days!!  It isn’t cold, as a matter of fact, it is far warmer than usual – just WET and GRAY!!  And most of us here in the Northwest are doing our share of whining – well, at least this old gal has been doing more than her share of whining!!
So, it has been back to pics from the past, but I do hope you enjoy them!!
And I hope all of you have a wonderful day and a lovely weekend!! Enjoy!! And if you’re in the Northwest – try to stay dry!!!

You could give the same warning to those of us in Southwest Florida ... Today is the third day in a row of steady rain. At least in the Pacific Northwest it is Supposed to rain in the winter . So thank you for your beautiful skies which are brightening up this gray morning.

Grey days often leave us with these beautiful Orangy sunsets.
I love cloudy rainy days but that is probably because we never get quite enough of them in So Cal.

Gorgeous! It was sunny here all week until today, when the rain came. Hoping for a nice weekend.

Beautiful skies from days past, Sylvia. With the cold and megasnow in parts of the county, a lot of people probably don't have too much sympathy for warm and wet weather :)

These shots from your archive have the right to be seen, I think, they are wonderful.
Overhere the weather is dreadful as well with a lot of wind and rain.
In the Netherlands we have a saying "shared sorrow is half sorrow". So cheer up. :-)

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
