Our World!

Ah, and into February we go!! By Golly time flies whether we’re having fun or not!!!  But I really can’t complain because I do have fun most of the time – even in our “cruddy” weather over the past few months!!!
Well, let’s drop the weather!! It has been pretty nice today and I’m hoping that we all have a wonderful new week!!
I took these at the beach in Seattle – one of my favorite places as you all know!! The snowy mountains are always a treat for the eyes!!
Enjoy your new week and find lots of things to make you smile, giggle and belly laugh for the whole new week!!!

I don't measure a man's success by how high he climbs but by how high he bounces when he hits bottom.

I do remember the snow on the tops from my only visit to Seattle, over 20 years ago. It felt almost like home.

Water and mountains together are hard to beat! We've been getting lots of snow which is good for the ski mountain.

A beach and snowy mountains - what a perfect combination, Sylvia. Although the beach does look rather cold. Have a great week; the dogs and I are staying inside through the snowstorm.

Beautiful Seattle pictures Sylvia -- time sure does go quickly by these days doesn't it! I hope you get some sun this month. (Heck I hope we do here in Florida -- January was so rainy, we might as well have been in Eugene)!

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
