Our World

I was visiting in Seattle last week and made another visit to one of my favorite places which I’m certain you will recognize!!
Wishing all of you a great new week and, hopefully, better weather than we’re “enjoying???” here in the Northwest!!

These are, each and every one, fine photographs. I especially like the Seattle needle...I was there in 1980 for a convention and haven't been back since, although I loved the city and the area. Maybe I'll make it out that way yet!

Seattle remains elusive. Why haven't I visited this fascinating city, I have no idea.

What a great place - Seattle is one of my favorite cities to visit. And it looks like you got some good weather too! I've never been inside that museum, I would love to one day, but I have no idea when I'll be in that part of the country again.

Seeing your beautiful photos brought back our wonderful trip to your part of the world last year. We absolutely loved seeing all that Chihuly glass.

I recognised the Space Needle and the Chihuly works straight away Sylvia.. I love having so many blogging friends around the world, it means I become familiar with so many amazing sights around the world WITHOUT getting on a plane :)

Even I have been to the top of The Space Needle - the restaurant served an excellent chocolate cake if memory serves me right. Wonderful view.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
