Sky Watch!!

Welcome to this week’s Sky Watch!!
These days I am having to rely on old pics as it is still gray and rainy in Portland – this makes the second month of close to daily rain!!! I think that all of us here in Oregon are beginning to mildew!!
I hope you are all enjoying a great week!!

People with many interests live, not only longest, but happiest.

Try not to mildew too much!

I love the golden hue of this sky. We had rain yesterday that evolved into snow, but thankfully not enough to cause too many problems. I hope you get sunshine soon.

Sorry about your weather. We've got sunshine but it's rather cold for this area and windy. It's the wind that kills you. Hope you're having a good day.

So many lovely colours in your sky. And that quote is a winner.

I really do not want to live as long as my daddy - 100 1/2 - but I have lots of interests and long life runs on both sides of my family. I am amazed at how so many of our skies are so golden. we never see these on an ongoing basis here. They are gorgeous.

That's a thought provoking quote. I love it.

Grey and rainy in Portland? Surely you jest! In any case that's a pretty old photo, you definitely get lovely sunsets when the weather's good. Have a wonderful weekend, Sylvia.

I love it. One of my former bosses said that I had way too many personal things I was interested in. Yep, maybe.

Take care Sylvia!!

I just found out about Tina and her husband passing away and I feel like I've been punched in the gut. She was the second blog friend who is gone in just the last several months.

Beautiful -- hang on there, spring will be there soon. It has rained a lot here in Florida this winter.. not quite as much as you have, but a lot.. (This is supposed to be the dry season here)....and besides, if it rains here, it makes me really homesick for Oregon).

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
