One Quiet Moment

What counts is not necessarily the size of the dog in the fight - it's the size of the fight in the dog.
       - Dwight D. Eisenhower

I’m hoping the size of the fight over my computer problems is big enough to solve the problem!!
Hold good thoughts for me!!

I love the Eisenhower quote. A Tea Party friend of mine tried to tell me that he was overrated and actually a coward, unlike Ted Cruz who is a brave patriot. Boy, did that get my blood boiling.

Anyways, take care Sylvia!!

You're posting, and that's a good sign. Yay!

I have to say I have had many less problems with my iMac. When I want to feel old frustrations, I try doing things on my PC. But the Macs cost a little more. I sure wouldn't want to have to use the old computer all the time. Good luck.

You've given us a lovely quiet moment here Sylvia, but looking back it seems you've been having problems with your computer. I'm hoping this beautiful image means all is well once more!

Still posting great pics of wonderful skies, I see, Sylvia!
I'm on Instagram these days (as @Weijnschenk) and have found other hobbies. So I quit Skywatch (for the time being) but sometimes miss my interactions with the lovely people envolved in it.

Hope you're doing well!

Your Amsterdam friend,

Terrence

More like a happy moment with that sky.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
