The
past few days have finally succeeded in removing all the joy/fun that I have
enjoyed through blogging for the past nine years!! The problem is still there
and doesn’t seem to want to yield to all of the “fix it’s” that I’ve tried!!!
But I do want to tell all of you out there in “Blogland” how much I have
enjoyed these years of sharing with you wonderful people from all over the
world!!!
I
hope all of you continue to enjoy blogging and I will continue to visit your
blogs when I can!!

Oh, no - is it blogger or your computer? I still hope there is a fix for you.
I know how frustrating problems with your computer and blog can be. For a couple of years I stayed away because of them. I tried contacting my blogging host to see if they could tell me anything and never got a reply. Finally, when getting a glimpse of my blog, because that was all I could ever see, I saw something that didn't look right. I was able to go to my "layout" page and figure out where it was and deleted it and WALAA, everything was good. Please come back and keep trying. You will be missed!
I think a lot of people will be disappointed, but one must do what's best for oneself.
I wish I could persuade you not to leave, but if that's what you wish then all I can say is that we'll miss your posts. Come back from time to time to visit us in blog land.
I hope so, too, Barb, but the frustration has almost been TOO much to deal with as I have had to do the past few days!! So, a little break and then hopefully I can finish getting the problems taken care of!! I hope you have a lovely Spring!!! Enjoy!! I may get a new computer, but that's the most expensive "fix"!! But I'll do what has to be done!!
Wish I was there as a next door neighbor to help you out with you computer / blogger woes so you'd be a 'happy camper' once again.

As one who has been battling her own computer woes this week.. I hear ya!!! Mine was the main laptop would NOT communicate with the web. Something got into the works and had to do a lot of jiggering... then left the thing alone for two days; I just literally switched on again tonight to have another go at dismounting and rebooting - and LO! there was light!!! So never say it's the end Sylvia - just potential for new beginning &*> We will miss you but completely understand. Huggies, YAM xx
Technology can be SO SO frustrating when things go wrong. I don’t know what precisely the problem is since you seem to be posting fine. Perhaps the issue is a small one and will resolve itself or someone will be able to help you when they learn the details. I hope so, Sylvia. :)
It is always sad to say Good Bye, even if it may only be for a while. I fully understand your frustration with the difficulties both software and hardware put in the way for us bloggers - I feel it myself. Blogging ought to be as free of such problems as possible, so that we could concentrate on the content. The content ought to be what blogging is all about, though design seems to most important for many (including the hosts)

And it's 9 years that we "know" each other, remember Tom from Hawai ? Can't you wait another year to make a round number ? You will miss it, if it is only a technical question that can always be fixed. Of course if you lost the pleasure of blogging that's another story !

Well, Sylvia, sometimes you just have to do what you have to do. Life does go on without the blog ... but the bloggers who have known' you for so long and depend on your upbeat posts and humor will have a hard time without you being there. We have loved following you and hope that at some point you will pop up again with that great smile and lift all of our spirits for a time. God Bless, Sylvia ... you deserve the best and I know you will find what is right for you. (In my heart, I am hoping that will be a return in the near future).
