WOW!! I sure have gotten lots of attention this past week!! Maybe it was worth getting hurt by that big old dog!!  Well, no, I wouldn't want to go through that again!! It HURT! But I'm in good shape now -- thanks to all of you and your good thoughts!!  And what about Mom's and my great new Header by our good friend in India!!! Terrific, huh?

A very large part of my world for the past eleven years has been Sam Schnauzer.  As most of you know, he was injured by another dog late last week. He's not made the improvement we hoped for and I'm not sure what is going to happen. Please hold good thoughts for Sam and I.

I hope all of you will hold good thoughts for Sam. Two days ago, a dog locked in a car parked in front of the complex where we live,  managed to jump into the the front seat and out the partially open window and attack Sam as we were going for our afternoon walk. It took three people, who just happened to be near the building at the time,  to pull the dog off Sam and put him back in the car. Sam is doing okay, but is still having some problems.  We have no idea what prompted the attack other than he is a very vicious dog and the owner had been forced to move out of the complex that day because of the dog.  Unfortunately, not soon enough to save Sam from the trauma.

I can take a bit of moving break as the apartment they're hoping to get for me will not be ready for another month. So, I can get back to "playing" for a little while! Thoughts for Wednesday!

My inconclusive travel plans for 2013

I have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone.

I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.

I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport, you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there, thanks to my partner, work and politicians who affect my life.

I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore.

I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.

I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.

Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older.

One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!

I may have been in Continent, but I must’ve been sleeping while traveling through. It's an age thing.

European Truck Artisits!!

THE EUROPEAN TRUCK ARTISTS ARE AT IT AGAIN.......  Here are 5 pictures of European trucks whose trailers are decorated to look like the sides are missing and the products they are hauling are painted on the sides and back. The first one is of a bottle of beer and looks so real, like it is coming out the side of the trailer.. The second is of canvas tote bag. The third is of Pepsi cases and they are all stacked on the ceiling, and the bottom of the trailer is empty. The fourth is of another truck with the windshield facing the back and there has been a driver painted in the driver's seat looking back over his shoulder to appear like he is driving backwards. (Now this one is just plain scary, even when the German reads 'On the wrong way?') The fifth one is of an aquarium with fish swimming in it.
