Hallo Sylvia, the majority of Europeans would decide like you do!
The election is broadcasted today on Austrian TV from 22:00 pm to 8:00 am tomorrow morning! The whole night! I think I'll get up early tomorrow!
Thank you for visiting my blog! I'm happy you liked my My World contribution. No kidding, I had to look up Washington on the map, I knew that it was somewhere on the Westcoast, but noting more :(
Thanks to blogging :)

You have the backing from Norway - but, alas, we have no vote. We just have to face the consequences...

That Eagle is a great symbol to post on your blog today. I wish I had thought of it. ;)

Today is the culmination of all we have hoped and worked for for 21 months and maybe longer. I remember saying that I wished Obama was running for president when I heard him give the keynote speech for John Kerry. And here we are.

It is six here and I am waiting for it to get daylight so I can go vote. I don't drive well in the dark and would not want to wreck and Obama lose my vote!

Nice post, Sylvia. I hope against hope that the Republicans don't try to steal this election like they did the one in 2000.

If it's a landslide, they won't be able to do that. If it's close they'll start a dozen recounts and leave it to the Bush Supreme Court to decide again.

I didn't sleep last night worth anything. I was like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. I love the eagle picture. Good symbolism.

Your eagle is beautiful. I have to tell you, I debated on using mine, until I saw yours, then decided to go ahead. I like it.

I promise you I will! My daughter tells me she even walked her husband's absentee ballot over because she knew he was going to vote for Barack.

let's all remember to breathe as we're waiting for the results. this is the first time in years maybe ever that I've voted democratic...hope and pray he wins. think they would be a neat first family and America would grow in respect in the eyes of the world.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
