Time to Speak Up

If you would like to help protect gay rights to marriage from the likes of Ken Starr and people like him you can sign a petition HERE

While there click on the ‘Launch The Wall’ button – the lies and ugliness there needs to be drowned out. The darkness there needs to have a giant light shining down upon it.

This comes from Dianne at Forks off the Moment

Thanks, Dianne, for caring!

This is urgently needed right now. And it has to be carried way beyond California to all the rest of the country.

sylvia - thank you a million times over - I have been reading some court watcher blogs and they say that yesterday's proceedings do not look hopeful for those of us who believe in rights for all

and bobbie is right - it must be carried across the nation - if this can happen in CA then imagine what can happen in those states where the forces of intolerance and ignorance are even stronger

thank you -

I wish we didn't keep having to do this over and over until we get it right across the country. Supporting equal rights and protection for all seems so obvious, and yet the struggle to deny goes on.

Sylvia;

Thank you for all you do with spreading the word on this issue. My daughter who is my heart is gay, and I fight along with you and so many others on equal rights for all, not just the majority! Thank you from my heart!

Thanks for passing this on, Sylvia! Marriage rights were the theme of our Pride march in Ireland last year; these rights are absolutely needed everywhere and if only we could start *somewhere*!

Will pass the link along--thanks again!

Thanks Sylvia, Both you and Dianne (and others) do a real service to keep these issues to the front!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
