These are beautiful photos. I once had wonderful plantings of nasturtiums, but infestations of aphids wiped them out in spite of imported ladybugs. (isn't aphis the plural of aphid? Blogger doesn't think so). When my children were small and wanted snacks I would butter a slice of bread and they would wrap it around nasturtium leaves.
I have to confess - I looked at each photo in turn and wondered - is that the nasturtium? I always think that I'm best in a supervisory capacity in the garden. ;)
A beautiful post! And so appropriate for this Earth Day. Nasturtiums are a flower I've never grown before, and last summer when I saw them everywhere, I thought why haven't I ever planted them?? There will be nasturtiums in my garden this summer!
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.

Great photos of some beautiful trees...very colorful flowers...
Look at the rich colour that is us. We can no longer contain and isolate the beauty that is within. We burst forward with Joy.
I celebrate the N by saying Nice. Skye
Those are gorgeous blooms, and a great choice of N's.
Lovely to see those "N" photos. Alway great to take a long look at Nature.
Spectacular blossoms!
I like nasturtiums. They're a pretty orange and you can put them in your salad.
I would think that Natural Moments' bunny would certainly burst with joy if he had some yummy nasturtiums to munch on! :-)
Beautiful photos, Sylvia. As always.
Those flowers and blossoms are GORGEOUS!!

Lovely spring blossoms. Nasturtiums are great plants, they grow in the harshest conditions.

With those trees you have all the reason in the world to celebrate!

These are beautiful Sylvia....
These are so wonderful, so soothing. I love the colors.
Lovely photos. I'm partial to nature and nasturtiums. They used to grow for me, but the last few years they've been scrawny and pale.
