Sky Watch Friday!
It's time to share our skys once again! Sky Watch is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Ivar, Wren, Fishing Guy and Louise click here to sign up and show Your Skys!
Here in Seattle we've gone from gray to sun to gray and back again! Always something different, something beautiful.
This one made me think of some other worldly, one-eyed creature peering down at us one evening last week.
Vapor trails were playing games in the sky this day and I love the rainbow colors although I'm not sure where they came from.
And finally an incredibley beautiful backdrop for the Tulip tree!

Hi Sylvia,
Love your tulip tree! The pics of the sky are awesome too.

Love those skies, especially the light in the second-to-last: the tulip tree and its blue sky however are a perfect grand finale. Really lovely!
I hope your weekend is full of blue skies too--happy skywatching Sylvia!
That first one, the eye, is just jaw-dropping! so glad you had your camera handy!!
Beautiful skies, it's nice when there clouds and blue together.
I was fascinated by those vapour trail - real squares ;-)
Sylvia your blog never disappoints, I just had to go pour a glass of wine after seeing your post.
Have a great weekend.

Those are all beautiful shots and the tulip tree is a favorite of mine. We had a problem this year with the tulip trees blooming too early and they got hit by snow. Good to see yours.
The clouds and light in that first one are just amazing!
Lovely sequence of photos you have here and yes you certainly had someone watching over you in the first one.
Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful sky changes.
Love the tulip.

beautiful sky captures...love the last with the tulip tree...color is beautiful ...
You have very interesting variety of clouds/sky shots.
You have great information on your site. Also nice picture's. Skye
The first one is very spectacular and the others are also very beautiful! What a variety! Thanks for sharing! Thanks also for your visit.
Beautiful skies and I love that tulip tree.
That first shot is downright spooky! But in the best possible way.
Great series of photos...they are all beautiful skies...the first one is amazing...
That first photo is absolutely stunning, Sylvia. As is the last one. Your photos are always so beautiful!
I rarely see vapour trails so for me these are terrific. Lovely sparkling light. Tulip tree is very new to me too and what a beauty.
1st and 3rd are my favourites! Beautiful flower ending too!!
Sure does look like you're being watched, Sylvia!
I see the one eye as a bright nose and above it the face has its eyes closed. Perhaps it is sleeping in the shade.
The tulip trees are beautiful. You are blooming Sylvia.
Very nice. Looks like Spring was worth waiting for.
Still wish I could steal your first picture with the 'eye' or moon, to pair with my parabola woodcut ...done a long time ago but, none-the-less, an interesting coinicidence that both of them appeared on the same page of my blog last week - as fleeting sky watch imagery tends to be.
Outstanding photos.
Your first photo looks like a beautiful face blowing the clouds. Good shots.
Eye!
It looks as if the clouds are watching. :)
Beautiful series again.
The first photo is so unique! All are very nice.
Beautiful shots! We saw some great vapor trails Sunday...
Beautiful, Sylvia!
I like the last one with flowers - Tulips.
The first one is truly other worldly. Great capture of something very unusual.
Beautiful stuff from tulips and vapours...and it´s the comeback of the creepy one-eyed sage!
In Seattle, just wait 5 mins for change in the weather. That first image of the face is amazing. Looks like it's wearing sunglasses.
I think that my favourite is the one of the tree. Gorgeous blossoms and fantastic blue sky. Perfect day.
Loved the various hues..esplly the last picture
Sylvia, your first shot is really spectacular. It asks questions and doeas not give out the answers.
Sylvia: Your clouds are so interesting today, thanks for sharing with SWF.
the first photo seems to be one of a kind! have a wonderful weekend!
That first one is pretty spooky! Still lovely though
Hi Sylvia, thank you for your lovely comment on my blog! :)
I love your first picture best, it looks so funny with this big eye on the sky:)))
I also read your post on Mariposa and on the schooling system with great interest!
I also enjoy your blog! Have a nice weekend!
The magnolia tree is gorgeous! Love those sunny blue skies too. ;-)
Sylvia your Magnolia is to die for, gorgeous. Nice group of shots.
The sky sure changes from minute to minute doesn't it? Nice job!
Joyce
Great sky shots this week! That first one is a strange shape and lookslike it wants to gobble up some trees.
These are lovely. Your photos make me want to grab my camera, run outside, and take my own.
Those are all beautiful shots, Sylvia!
The first shot looks to me like the something in sky is shooting down from a great height. Zooming in on you! Very unusual.
