Seems Like Only Yesterday

BARBIE DOLL has her 50th birthday this year.......

And Tweety Bird is 60!

And what about all our other ....
CHILDHOOD
SUPERHEROES?

SUPERMAN

Thor

Wonder Woman (touch of menopause here I think?)

Batman and Robin

Spider Man

LOL ;-)
Seems like we're weathering 'age' better than these super heroes. Thanks for the chuckles! I'm celebrating my 1st Blogoversary at Happily Retired Gal ... where does the time go???
Hugs and blessings,

Yes, that made me smile! I often wonder how 'movie stars' would be viewed 'au naturel' though of course, they're not! What a superficial world we can be encouraged to support . . . ;-)

Happy Thanksgiving to You and Yours across the pond . . .

Hilarious - thanks for the giggles. Of course, in my mid 40's now, I am still the slim, lithe and sexy beast that I was at 20 - in my dreams!

Very funny slant on our aging superheroes!! Snoopy and the gang never seem to age!

ROFL!!
My favourite part of the Incredibles is when Bob puts on his old super-suit, then stretches, and his big beerbelly falls out under his shirt. It happens to us all I guess!!

Oh, dear. We're all sagging.
Might as well go ahead and eat big time tomorrow.
Happy Thanksgiving

How did Barbie get to be 50? She hasn't aged a day! Nor has Tweetie!

Funny one. The icons of our youth aren't looking so great.
At least we won't be envious of Barbie and Wonder Woman's figures any more.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
