Sky Watch Friday!

How time flies when you're having fun! It's time for Sky Watch! Time to share the magnificence of your skies and enjoy the beauty of skies from all over the world! Click on the icon, sign up and join the fun and the beauty.

We had one incredibly beautiful day here earlier this week and I dropped everything, including the laundry and headed for the harbor. I think the skies speak for themselves as usual. Please click on any of the pics to embiggen.

Of what I call God, And fools call Nature. ~ Robert Browning

All my life through, the new sights of Nature made me rejoice like a child.
~ Marie Curie

Nature is the art of God. ~ Dante Alighieri

One touch of nature makes the whole world kin. ~ William Shakespeare

To me a lush carpet of pine needles or spongy grass is more welcome than the most luxurious Persian rug. ~ Helen Keller

I love to think of nature as an unlimited broadcasting station, through which God speaks to us every hour, if we only will tune in. ~ George Washington Carver

Trees are the earth's endless effort to speak to the listening heaven.
~ Rabindranath Tagore

Reading about nature is fine, but if a person walks in the woods and listens carefully, he can learn more than what is in books, for they speak with the voice of God. ~ George Washington Carver

Such a beautiful post Sylvia. The Helen Keller quotation stopped me dead in my tracks. Imagine only feeling that grass and lawn -- and not seeing the sky. We are so fortunate.

Thank you for the early reminder of Skywatch -- I read your post earlier and went straight to work doing mine! For once I am an earlier number than 500 or so ;>).

Thanks too for your work co-hosting!
