Shadow Shot Sunday!

We do have sun again! As of yesterday! So, I have a few new things for this week. Anyway, for those of you who don't know about this addictive pastime that so many of us have gotten involved in, it's Shadow Shot Sunday and is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet, so click on the icon and hop over to her blog, sign in and show and share the shadows that you discover!

Over at the Harbor these Seagulls were having a political rally -- I think. They were certainly trying to get people's attention!

The ducks were enjoying the sun as well!

Back at home there was lots of sun on the deck!

And I found some new colored glass to add to my collection!

The gull gaggle is congregating, with a squawk session and begging about to commence. I'll keep my distance.

I have to admit, I am far more fond of ducks than gulls. This pair is quietly swimming, no noise, a dignity not seen with the others...

Beautiful shadow photographs Sylvia. And you must also have some great collection of colored glass shadows.

That is a marvelous header, Sylvia. What fun! I did love seeing the seagulls in Seattle. Hmmm... you know I love seagulls since I named our son, Jonathan.

Glad you found new colored glass to add to your collection.

Those gulls are a far more pleasant sight than the silly protesters in these parts who waste their Saturdays shouting at the world. Lovely shadows, beautiful light.

Sylvia, You always have such a neat variety to share with us!

The gulls are fun but I like the colored glass on the embroidered cloth best.

The header is beautiful..What a wonderful job she did for you.
Always enjoy the gulls..they can be funny to watch. Once at the beach, years ago with my mom, they tried to take her shoe with them.
It was funny to watch.
Ducks are beautiful too..As your deck/colored glass..all great shadows..Happy SSS.

I don't know why, but those sea gulls made me laugh! I guess because I could hear them squawking in my head.
Nice new glass acquisitions too.
Hope your weekend is jolly!

I wonder what the seagulls were rallying about..

Quack! I love ducks. And I love your colored glass, as always.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, Sylvia!

P.S. I think you should come see my Shadow post from last week..it was inspired by you!!

The poopers on parade, every time I'm the recipient of their package...but it always makes us laugh and that's what it's all about...love your new glass shadows, isn't it grand to see the sun...more rain on your horizon though, hope you're high and dry, our rivers are rising!

LOL those ducks! Your deck looks like a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink, especially with the sun shining! I have a coloured glass with squares like that, burn a candle in it and you shall see the beautiful reflection!

Compliments for the new header.... there is a lot to see!

Enjoy your Sunday!

Ha! Rallying seagulls! Now that's a scary thought. Seagulls are not the type to quietly protest about anything.

Love the coloured glass shadows. That smaller piece (drinking glass, candle holder maybe?)is really cool!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend Sylvia :)

How nice for you Sylvia to get some sun. It surely makes it easier to find shadows.

Lovely shots. i too have been known to collect coloured glass and crystal. Mine are mostly deep blue or pink.

Thank you for being such a friend and visiting even when I am at times not able to reciprocate.

Blessings, Arija
