Shadow Shot Sunday!
Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. It does help to have some sunshine! We HAD some!! Ah, well!!! This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the icon, sign up and show us how clever you are!
It was back to gray today so I didn't get all the shots I wanted to and had to depend mainly on my archive! What would I do without something to complain about???? Day before yesterday it was lovely and I headed for the bird Sanctuary as usual and as usual, my turtle friends, a sleepy duck and one upside down duck were waiting for me! Do click on the photos to enlarge, the critters look so much better then!
And a fairly new, young duck put in an appearance, too!
My favorite lounge chair on the deck for reading leaves an interesting pattern shadow, I think.
And, of course, can't have a Shadow Shot day without a toast to color!

all of them great, but the last one - spectacular.
Happy Sunday!
Love them all but the chair and the glass are something special :-)
I love 'em all -- especially the colorful glass at the end. I have no shadows or reflections this weekend; someday I will have time to go hunting for both every week.
Sylvia that final glass shot is a triumph - you are the champion of coloured glass shadow shots!! Greetings from Mexico!!
Excellent set--the last two are really exceptional. Have a great weekend, Sylvia!
Wonderful shadow shots-I especially like the last 2!

You know what I'm going to say - the glass wins hands down over cute ducks!! Have a good weekend, Anne
I love the glass shot, it's so crisp and clear that you would think it's just another glass tipped over.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Glass looked inviting!
Love your golden shadow, Sylvia. I was enchanted by your header and studying it when I finally started reading your explanation. What a marvelous gift from your from. It's so happy and full of life.
A toast to your lovely Shadow Shots Sylvia!
Love the duck, the deck chair and the glass! Also your new header is great-it is one of those pictures you could look at for ages as there is so much going on.

That yellow shadow is wonderful!
Your water bird world is so delightful! It must be so much fun watching these feathers at play! And adore the golden shadow!
I have some great shadow shots and I keep meaning to join this meme, but i have the attention span of a gnat.
I passed up a great shadow shot the other day -- our satellite dish in silhouette on the side of the neighbor's house -- because i was in too much pain to heft the camera. Today I am feeling much better though!
Slyvia I have come to love your colour shadow shots with glassware so much !
You could dedicate a whole separate blog to them !
Wonderful shots : )

I'll drink to that (the glass shot) while sitting in your lounge chair! Sounds like you got your weekend off to a good start.
Love the shadows from your lounge chair, Sylvia. And your colored glass shot is superb, as always.
Thanks for stopping by ~ have fun shadow seeking in the week ahead.
What a relaxing spot. The bindings on your chair make a great pattern. How creative of you to notice it! And as always, your signature color shadow is beautiful.
