Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the icon and join us! If the icon doesn't work here is the address and you can click on it instead: http://newtowndailyphoto.blogspot.com/
Fall is definitely tiptoeing around the edges here in the Seattle area, you can feel it in the air, see it in the skies, different colors beginning to put in an appearance. But whatever, it's still lovely!

"Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting
and autumn a mosaic of them all."

Water is the best medium for reflections, and I side with Malyss for the rest!

Have a great weekend!

Top one has the hand of God in it somewhere. Guess the others do as well but not as gloriously. Very nice, Sylvia K.

Something for everyone, but all of them beautiful.
I like the second one best... that deep blue, all those greens, and the general upsidedowniness of the whole thing.

Those are wonderful shots as always. As you probably know by now I really love any of your shots with water, since I live in such a dry area. Have a great Labor Day weekend, Sylvia.

My favourite is the last one too. You can't make out where the real thing ends and the reflection begins.

I've been noticing fall around where I live as well, and I love how you described it:
"Fall is definitely tiptoeing around the edges here in the Seattle area, . . . "! Beautifully worded. All of your pictures are wonderful reflections! The sunset is glorious, and I really like the pattern the leaves have left on the water in the last one.

Cherry said...

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
