MicroFiction Monday

Susan at Stony River Farm hosts Microfiction Monday. She posts a picture and you compose a story in 140 characters. You can click on the title to get further instructions. To help you along she has posted a wonderful link that counts your characters for you! How great is that! You can get the counter at Design 215.

This meme is easy and it's fun! Thanks, Susan for hosting.

And here's the picture for the day!

What are you staring at, you two-legged Twit? You want to know what NF stands for?
Well, how about NO FUN. NO F FUN if it was up to me!

Seeing another side of Sylvia here! LOL
Just waiting for my friend to check in with her take on it, and I'll be posting mine. Meanwhile, good for you, give 'em...

One should never say " I wouldn't be caught dead wearing that!" You might be proven wrong. Ouch!

Actually, he is the magical reindeer from Stanta's entourage. With a sprinkle of stardust, he will come alive and all ready to start work. I wonder if rehersals for Christmas Day delivery has started yet?

I wouldn't be having any fun either being on display like this. I think you and I were thinking along the same lines this week. You have a wonderful week Sylvia.

Sylvia;

What a hoot, loved it.
I needed a good laugh,
I've had the flu all week.
Have a great week my friend!

Sylvia, I was thinking along similar lines before I went down the vampire trail! Goood one for the week!

Have a great week, and thanks for your comments on my blog. They are always much appreciated.

O Golly, Sylvia! When was the last time you called someone a 'twit?' You did good. I take it your 'four legged (??)' wasn't happy with his hat. :)

Kay said...

Now that is very clever to use the words on his hat. I guess it's certainly No Fun to be hung up all the time.

And they say deer are so peaceful and non-confrontational...

Sylvia, is that a hearse in your header? I really enjoy looking at these each week because there's always something different!

Funny! I was wondering about that "NF" as well!

SparkleFarkel said...

Your microfiction is so true to that old adage: "Be wary of disgruntled deers.>" What? I'm sure that's a saying somewhere. (LOL!) Just ask any deer who finds himself "out of the woods."

The poor thing sounds just a tad bitter to me! Thanks for the laugh this week. Cheers!

Definitely no fun for the deer.

Hi Sylvia,

And you think my 'Marvin Moose' had attitude!!!!!

Love it, LOL

He's got some attitude there. I guess I would too if that was me..... :O)

There's certainly something going on behind those eyes even if they're glass!

Oh, good way to incorporate the NF. I could see on the T shirt that it must stand for Nutter Fort? That surely can't be right. I like yours better!

Love that you wrote Twit! Funny.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
