Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the post title and sign up to play with us! Once again our weather hasn't been particularly encouraging for any activity that requires sunlight! It's been in the teens and we had nearly five inches of snow. It's better now -- a little!! Enjoy your weekend!!

A lovely sunset at the harbor!

My favorite turtle friends!

Reflection of the stormy clouds in our back window!

You know, Sylvia, we live so close to the ocean, yet so far away, as the saying goes. And I really am a water baby, so I like coming here and seeing your ocean views. Are these turtles your pets? Enjoy a fine weekend!

I love those turtles :)

the storm clouds look as if they're hovering above a sunny day - those are always the most beautiful

They're all great, each in its way: sunset is bright, turtles are funny, but my favorite is that stormy sky through the window!
have a great week-end!

Lovely - those turtles are so cute. The clouds look like they promise snow - we may get some too tonight! Unusual to get November snow in England.

Hi Sylvia... molto bella la foto delle tartarughe... però non ho capito se fanno parte della tua famiglia o se sono animali liberi in un lago.
Buona giornata :))

Wow, the first shot is beautiful, Sylvia!
We have had a lot of snow, also--I think more than a foot in the last four days--but we are more accustomed to it than you are!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and that you enjoy the rest of the weekend!

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
