Sky Watch Friday!

Hi Everyone! I just had an incredible surprise and early Christmas present! My oldest daughter, Robyn, whom I haven't seen in seven years, just showed up to spend Christmas with me!!!  So I may be a little late getting around to your sites, but I will! Needless to say, I'm thrilled silly!!!

Time to share your skies, the beauty over your world, the clouds, the colors! Sky Watch is hosted each week by Klaus and the Sky Watch team of Klaus, Sandy, Wren and me. Join us and the many people from all over the world who share theirs with us each week! Click on the post title to be taken to the SWF website where you can sign up. Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas with lots of love and laughter, beautiful music and delicious food!!
Thank each of you for being such a wonderful part of my life, each and every day! And here are some of our magnificent skies from the past week in spite of the rain, and the gray, there always seemed to be a break before the day ended! And, of course, what is beauty without some wry chuckles courtesy of

Syvia,
Don't pictures of the sky just open your entire world? Sometimes I think we zero in and focus so much on what's not right with the world and the sky reminds us there's more out there than we will ever know....
Beautiful photos my dear,as always!

So absolutely wonderful to have such a magical surprise!!! I am so very happy for you and may you enjoy each other to the fullest.

The Prof had his 75th. birthday yesterday and our son is here staying in our house on Mt.Lofty with his family. What with all that and wrapping presents for at least twelve with a spare present or two for any droppers in, I could not even manage to raise a SkyWatch post. Sorry about that.

A very merry Christmas to you and all your family.

Love . . . Arija

Wow Sylvia, I can just imagine what surprise that must have been. We popped in to see Grant's 82 year-old mum last week. We see her every three-four months. But she had a shocking year and was so nervous when we arrived. Fortunately by the time we said our goodbyes, she was her old calm self again. You enjoy your dear daughter and have a BLESSED Christmas! (((Hugs))) Jo

Your photos are so pretty. Watching them made me realise that sky is always different... Never the same colour, never the same formation of clouds. That is amazing!

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Great Job, Robyn, giving your Mum a surprise Christmas present.

Do you watch Dr Phil? I was horrified to watch a woman complaining that she had to drive 800 miles to see her in laws, her mum and her Dad. To her Christmas visiting was a chore. I was equally horrifed when dr Phil's wife told her that Christmas was just for the immediate family. I wonder how many Americans agree with her.
