Sky Watch Friday!

Time to share your skies, the beauty over your world, the clouds, the colors! Sky Watch is hosted each week by Klaus and the Sky Watch team of Klaus, Sandy, Wren and me. Join us and the many people from all over the world who share theirs with us each week! Click on the post title to be taken to the SWF website where you can sign up.  Just like last week, we actually had blue skies, lovely, puffy white clouds and SUN!!! They seem to be scheduled for Wednesday these days! And again the skies began to change as the afternoon slipped by and ended like this one.

Liberty doesn’t work as well in practice as it does in speeches.  — Will Rogers

Principles have no real force except when one is well-fed.  -- Mark Twain

Why not go out on a limb? That's where the fruit is.  — Will Rogers

Always drink upstream from the herd.  — Will Rogers

The problem ain't what people know. It's what people know that ain't so that's the problem.

Your full moon capture is an artistic delight, I'm not complaining about the others either.

Have a wonderful fun filled weekend Sylvia.

I agree with Jim and Arija. That first shot is a keeper. I like that frame better than the clipped-off ones, too.

Is there anybody in the public eye who is as witty as either Mark Twain or Will Rogers? If there is, I hadn't heard about them. All your photos are great, I really like the first one with the feathery branches and the one of the moon behind the leaves.

Great photos, Sylvia. And now the fog is lifting and I see the sun burning through. Another dry, mostly clear day!

These wonderful shots really proves that there is a moon somewhere in the sky. I can´t remember when I saw it last time. It´s foggy here every day. Your blue sky is so wonderful, Sylvia!

Oh Sylvia, your new stage for sharing is so bright and cheerful. I am amazed at how so many people are changing their look, and I am so afraid to change that I might would lose it all... I think your images are splendid, especially the fourth one down. I always like jet streams, knowing jets have flown through, and I allow my imagination to soar as well. Have a great and safe weekend~ Mary

Always amazing, great shots! I really like the Will Rogers quotes.

For me the first image takes the prize this week, although of course all are super, Sylvia. I'm just partial to those wispy tree silhouettes and the warm glow of the sunset. And of course we are of one mind on the wisdom of your quotes, with Will's "It's what people know that ain't so that's the problem" striking the loudest chord.
